Karl-Martin Edin, Sweden
It was taking a bow tie and apron from his sister to 2013 World Class Sweden winner Emil Åreng that set Karl-Martin on his way. “We started talking about drinks and flavours. All of a sudden I was invited in for a shift” at Rex Bar and Grill in Umeå. He now works in a hidden boutique bar of the deli DUÅ, Open/Closed, and loves the set-up there – “we serve cocktails with a lot of storytelling.
