Inspired by the film 'Cocktail', Charlies realised bartending wasn't just a job. He worked through the ranks from a bus boy to eventually become a manager. He moved to Vancouver to help a friend open his first bar and then travelled extensively learning about the drinking cultures in different cities. Charles moved back to Sydney and now co-owns This Must Be The Place with fellow World Class Winner, Luke Ashton.
